In these lectures I will be clarifying the differences in the basic components of your various food choices and providing you with a clear understanding of how those differences can profoundly affect your health. In the first lecture I will identify and define carbohydrates, proteins, and vitamins. Key differences will be explained and I will give you guidelines for making healthy choices. The second lecture will follow the same format, but focus on fats and antioxidants. The final lecture will look at various popular diets and the evidence for each of them. We will use the information from the earlier talks to demystify some of the confusion and empower you to make wiser food choices.
Each event will be very helpful and packed with information, but it will be most beneficial if you make the effort to attend all three.
